Case Study
Brut. Wine & Oyster Bar, Prague –
Affordable Luxury with a Bold Brand Identity
Challenge
The Brut. team envisioned a Wine & Oyster bar that embodied “affordable luxury” — a space where top-quality oysters and a curated selection of fine organic wines could be enjoyed at accessible prices. The goal was to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere rather than an exclusive, high-end experience.
Solution
I was approached by the founders of Brut. to oversee the strategic and design elements of their new venture in Prague. Starting with a Brand Positioning Exercise, we defined the core values and unique selling points of the business, setting the foundation for all subsequent design work. With a clear strategy in place, I developed a cohesive brand identity, including:
Logo and visual identity
Crafted a distinctive logo and visual style that reflected the concept of approachable luxury.
Marketing collateral
Produced various marketing materials to support brand awareness and customer engagement.
INTERIOR & EXTERIOR FASCIA DESIGN
Collaborated on the design of the bar’s signage and aesthetic elements, ensuring a seamless experience from the moment customers approached the venue.
Results
Since its launch, Brut. has established itself as a popular destination in Prague’s food and wine scene. Five years later, the bar continues to thrive, attracting a loyal customer base who resonate with its approachable, inclusive ethos.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
“Being a start-up we didn’t have an enormous budget, Taya worked within that and helped us understand the tone of voice of the business. She gave us the tools to create ourselves. It was an educational and wonderful journey we took together. She knew what we needed and she delivered.”
Zuzana Koutska, Founder of Brut.
